Daily game guide
Premier League mode focuses on players connected to England’s top flight, past and present. The daily six can include modern stars, long-serving club legends, record-breaking forwards, creative midfielders, goalkeepers, defenders and players whose Premier League numbers only tell part of the story. This mode is built for people who know the league across seasons, not only the current table or the latest campaign.
The rules stay simple but the decisions can get awkward quickly. One player appears, you pick one available category, and the placement immediately receives that player’s real-world ranking for that stat. First place costs 1 point, tenth costs 10, and a player outside the top 100 is marked 100+ while adding 100 to your total. Lower is always better. Once a player is placed, that slot is locked, so you cannot move a striker later when a better category appears for someone else. You have to balance obvious strengths with what the remaining players might need.
When all six Premier League names have been placed, Footy Rankle totals your score and shows the best possible arrangement for that day. A new puzzle goes live at midnight London time, and each visitor gets one Premier League attempt per day.

No. The category mix can change daily, but it stays tied to Premier League records and performance statistics.
You can place them anywhere, but defenders and goalkeepers usually rank far higher in clean sheets, appearances or Golden Glove. Put them in an attacking category and a rank outside the top 100 will cost the full 100 points.
